With the News widget, you can have easy access to the latest media updates and events that occurred in the last 30 days. You can leverage this information to strategize and execute your trades accordingly.

Add News Widget
Step 1: Sign in to your TrendSpider account and navigate to the right side of the interface to select the News widget from the list.
Step 2: Click on the “Add to the Sidebar” option to add the News widget.
The News widget will populate in the sidebar column as can be observed below:
Access News
When the news widget is populated, a list of all the news events for the symbol you have currently selected to view on the chart will appear.
For every news event, you will be able to view:
- Date & time of publishing
- News headline
- A quick brief
Click on any news thread from the list and you will be redirected to the source to view the complete information ⚡
Note: TrendSpider has partnered with two vendors- Crypto News API for providing news related to cryptocurrency and Benzinga for providing news related to US Equities. The widget does not provide news for Indices, Futures, or Forex.

You can use News content in your visual scripts, which means that you can add News-related content within your script so that you can easily scan and find symbols linked to the news articles.
